Lewis Claims Services (LCS)
LCS is a specialist division delivering insurance-related investigation and information gathering services throughout the UK, intended to maximise field-based claims support.
LCS works with all sectors of the insurance industry including direct and 'traditional' insurers, multi-national brokers, legal firms and accident managers, both in-house and outsourced, with a view to improving claims handling performance and reducing critical claims leakage. Currently, LCS is working with six of the Top 10 insurers, providing:
- Third party visits
- Locus reports
- Witness statements
- Creditor insurance claims visits
- GAP and warranty claims visits
- Travel claims & pet claims
- Validation visits & conventional debt collection
- Customer care visits on PI claims
Unlike loss adjusters, LCS offers a range of services combining comprehensive information gathering, with the opportunity to identify exaggerated or fraudulent claims and recover un-insured losses, thus minimising claims leakage and improving claims loss ratios.
